Progression Record, Tier By Tier
I started as a night-shift healer who logged everything. That habit never left. Here is the short path from Vanilla wipes to Midnight Hall of Fame:
- 2005 – 2007 · Vanilla 40-Man
Raid caller, healing lead. Forty voices, one channel. I learned wipe calls early and started logging pulls to time cooldowns between phases. - 2010 – 2016 · Heroic to Mythic Era
Guild master, 25-man roster. I ran SimC profiles in sheets and benched hype trinkets that simmed worse. Data beat seniority in my guild. - 2018 – 2022 · Cutting Edge Pushes
Shotcaller, 20-man Mythic. I caught GCD clipping on double-taps and snapshotting mistakes on progress logs, then rebuilt our external cooldown rotation from scratch. - 2024 · The War Within
Hall of Fame roster. I verified haste soft-caps across the first tier and re-ran every SimC profile after each tuning pass. My callouts carry log timestamps now, not gut feel. - 2026 · Midnight Season 2
Venomous Abyss progression. I audit Ula’tek pulls nightly, track soak assignments pull by pull, and tune Spell Queue Windows per caster from live latency.
UI Config & WeakAuras Architecture
My screen shows mechanics, not decoration. Three aura groups, zero noise:
- Survival cluster. Active mitigation uptime, external cooldown rotation status, personal defensive charges — center screen, always visible.
- Boss timer spine. Soak assignments and enrage timer countdowns anchored under the boss frame, color-coded by owner.
- Parse HUD. Live CPM, GCD clipping counter and queue window readout. If clipping ticks up mid-pull, I fix the macro between pulls.
